WALK WITH US TO PREVENT SUICIDE
Many people’s introduction to AFSP comes through the Out of the Darkness Walks, taking place in cities nationwide. In our Community, Campus and Overnight Walks, those affected by suicide – and those who support them – raise awareness and much-needed funds, strongly sending the message that suicide can be prevented, and that no one is alone.
Join us on Saturday, September 12 at Stony Creek Metropark, Eastwood Beach as we gather to honor those we’ve lost, those we support, and for a time of community and connection. 83 cents of every dollar directly supports our mission to save lives and offer hope to those affected by suicide in these four areas: research, education, loss & healing support, and advocacy. Registration is FREE.
Friendly, leashed dogs welcome; Stony Creek Metropark entrance fee per vehicle is $10.
